About Çıralı

WHERE IS ÇIRALI?
Çıralı is a small district of Kemer, Antalya. Çıralı offers its guests historic beauties as well as a marvelous sea and nature. Since it is located in Beydağları National Park, it is an archeological site.

HOW FAR IS ÇIRALI FROM ANTALYA?
Çıralı is 85 kms from Antalya and located on the way to Kaş. It is 75 kms from Kemer. There are many alternatives to get to Çıralı.
Those who prefer to drive can reach Çıralı easily if they follow the Kumluca-Kaş road. If you travel by bus, you can take Kaş, Finike, Kumluca minibuses that depart Antalya Bus Terminal. We advise you to tell the driver to get off at Çıralı turning beforehand.
If you get to Antalya by plane, you can take Antalya Airport transfer vehicles, but do not forget to make reservation before. You can also get to bus terminal and take the minibus to Çıralı.
WHERE TO VISIT IN ÇIRALI
Offering the opportunity to have holiday in all four seasons, Çıralı may not be the best option in summer for those who do not like hot weather, as the temperatures may sometimes exceed 40 degrees. They can prefer other seasons.
Since it is famous for its nature, sea and tranquility, it is usually preferred by those who are fond of peace and serenity. You can find different options for night life (pubs and night clubs) out of Çıralı.
As for the places to visit, there are various alternatives in and around Çıralı. Visiting Lycian way, ancient city of Olympos, ancient city of Phaselis, Chimera (Yanartaş) besides enjoying the beautiful sea and the beach can be different options during the day.
LYCIAN WAY
One of the tracks of Lycian Way, known as one of the 10 best long-distance trails in the world, is in Çıralı. Lycian Way trails may be challenging for those who have health issues, however it is no doubt one of the most enjoyable walking routes in the world.
Yanartaş (CHIMERA)
Famous for its mythological stories, Chimera, eternal flame of Lycia, should be in your bucket list if you are in Çıralı. 3 kms from Çıralı, Chimera is impossible to reach by car as it is located on top of a hill and it is not an easy path to walk up during hot summer days. It is better to plan this visit in the evening.
ANCIENT CITY OF OLYMPOS
One of best places worth seeing around Çıralı is ancient city of Olympos. There is still an ongoing restoration at this archeological site where you can visit many ancient ruins from Byzantine, Roma and Hellenistic periods.
ÇIRALI BEACH
No matter what the season is, if you are on holiday in Çıralı, you can’t get enough of walking along its splendid beach. Çıralı offers you an unforgettable walking experience on this 3 kms coast with a glittering sea. You can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset on this beautiful beach.
WHERE TO STAY IN ÇIRALI
Although accommodation alternatives in Çıralı are limited, the opportunities offered are various. If you are willing to stay in a 5-star hotel, Çıralı is not the right option for you. Since it is a natural and historic archeological site, there are no big accommodation alternatives here. However, you will love beautiful Antalya Çıralı bungalows.
Bungalows and boutique hotels are the accommodation options in Çıralı. It is quite affordable to stay in these places surrounded by citrus trees in their gardens. You can also camp at one of these hotels as most of them offer this as well.
ACTIVITIES IN ÇIRALI
Çıralı offers you many activity options with its peace and quiet nature. Lycian Way is an 8-hour walking trail for the ones who are fond of hiking with no serious health issues. If you are not available for this, walking on Çıralı beach is a nice alternative too.
Çıralı boat tours are organized all along summer. Biking is another option. You can rent a bike to cycle around Çıralı and do shopping.
Unfortunately it is not allowed to camp on the seaside in Çıralı. Nevertheless, hotels and pensions usually offer camping options. With its decent toilet and electric facilities, Çıralı has become one of the most popular locations for campers.
